IX® in Action
A leading US-based Chemical Manufacturer asked IE to identify whether the right level of decision making was taking place at the right level of complexity across the organization, and to provide a gap analysis where required. Over a 12-week period, activities during IX® included:
- Analyzed the current organizational structure relative to strategic and operational strategy, required accountabilities, and associated capabilities
- Conducted processes mapping workshops with each department and identified gaps between current state and desired state RACIs
- Developed re-aligned job profiles for all roles across the organization based on future-state RACI, linked to talent selection, development, and succession processes
- Conducted individual capability and behavioral assessments from Supervisor to Director level, charting results against the job profiles and accountability maps developed in the RACI
- Worked with the Leadership Team facilitated the development of action plans based on accountability and capability gaps found
- Conducted coaching sessions with all Senior Managers and the Leadership Team based on individual needs
