The Management Operating System is the glue that ties together information, behaviors, and the regular cadences of how an operation runs. The MOS is core to the work we do and serves as a critical process component to embed improvements and tools during the transformation work. At Implementation Engineers we use a MOS framework, called High Performance Management, that includes three pillars: Structure, Tools and People Development. From coaching and mentoring supervisors, to conducting Gemba walks, to implementing enhanced visual communication, we deploy a wide range of essential elements across these three pillars. Through our High Performance Management practice, we implement effective management operating systems that give clients better stability, predictability and responsiveness in their operations. Furthermore, the MOS becomes a key support foundation for ongoing continuous improvement efforts.
A management operating system barely existed for our client, one of the world’s leading chemical specialty pioneers. We partnered with our client to set global standards and identified gaps in processes and tools. Our IX® experts worked with corporate Operational Excellence and leadership teams to tailor and implement a High Performance Management solution.
