Our client’s rod mill material management processes were not utilizing SAP capabilities to maintain inventory levels. With the commissioning of our client’s new rod mill plant rapidly approaching, assistance was needed to design and guide the new plant warehouse build and facilitate the identification and movement of material to support new plant operation and maintenance material. MRO Materials Management activities during IX® included:
- Identified site design guidelines for in scope processes and materials
- Redesigned inventory management and warehouse management processes for in scope materials
- Facilitated the physical layout of the new rod mill warehouse
